Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Production Planner/Scheduler to coordinate production schedules, balance customer demand with manufacturing capacity, and ensure materials and resources are available to meet delivery requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules
- Convert customer demand into actionable production plans
- Coordinate with Purchasing, Operations, Warehouse, and Customer Service
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed
- Maintain ERP/MRP planning data
- Track performance metrics including schedule adherence and on-time delivery
- Support inventory accuracy and reporting
Qualifications
- 5+ years of production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing experience
- ERP/MRP system experience required
- Strong Excel, analytical, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and attention to detail
Physical Requirements
- Primarily office-based within a manufacturing environment
- Occasional walking through the production facility
